woah baby

so yesterday would have been
my mom's 63rd birthday
she was 46 years old when she died
which is only ten years older than i am now

so i sent my doctor an email
about that thing i've been talking to him about
for over a year now

i flat out told him he was just
too nice for me

i wasn't trying to be mean
i just thought he would appreciate
the truth

and then when i was watching
picture perfect yesterday afternoon
kevin bacon said the exact same thing
to jennifer aniston
and she said i'm not that nice
and that is the exact same thing my date said
gah
i hope i'm not turning into kevin bacon
in picture perfect

the date guy before him got a simple
this is not going to work
three quarters through our meal
why waste our time and life is short

went to my oakvillian buds' place
a few days ago
for a bbq feast
must remember my bikini for next time
they have an inflatible pool
that has a pump
love the burbs

get one for my apartment

date update

i have gone on 2 additional dates
with the guy of zee last post
fizzle has drizzled
he just won't cut it
and i couldn't picture myself with him
years from now
wrestlin' in bed for hours
hoppin' in the car for an impromput weekend up north
or flashin' secret glances at each other
at a busy backyard barby

cause isn't that what its about
the simple things
the heart flutterin pangs
of 'fuk yeah he's is the one'

well that was nice

on the heels of another
bad bad date
i met someone pretty awesome last night
totally impromptu

friday
i was doing long overdue
laundry
watching no strings attached
and texting with some guy
i had never met
while he was out on a date

not a good one

so i told him to sneak off
and meet me
for a walk
with a bottle of red and plastic cups
to a barely lit spot under a tree
by the water
at nearly midnight
