i have no idea what the next few months
will bring
all i know is that i
eh
miss blogging
and bee
miss the old me
the fun yet serious
carefree yet focused and dedicated
and fun, did i say fun
me

I went out with the girls for dinner last night
for the first time in ages
and i was a moody, tired and grumpy
old sod
i hated being that way
yet at the same time could not control myself
the feeling of fatique and frustration
with my life
was consuming

but fear not friendlies
selfawareness is the all important
first step
to jumping off the 'life is too hectic and crazy'
train

and hopping onto
the lazy river raft

radlympics

olympics are starting tomorrow
sadly
i'm kinda indifferent

thing is
i would love to be participating in the olympics
it's just not my bag to watch

i would love to be good enough at a sport
to be able to devote all of my time
and passion towards the training
and the competing

no better feeling
i would imagine

oh and in other news
i got the boot from my fitness studio
cause i make noise and the floor vibrates
heh
it's okay with me though
i have a funky new spot all picked out

oh and in more other news
this week
i landed another tv segment
radio interview
coverage in elle magazine
and mention in a health & wellness blog

shazaam!

patsy you crazy ol girl

when i was a little girl
my mom drove a ford cougar
that stretched
what seemed like
the length of a football field
the was the colour of butterscotch pudding

the car had a very large backseat
that my sister and i would fight over

we wanted to be the one
who got to lay down across it
to avoid our friends seeing us
in this huge bountiful beast of horridness

my mom loved patsy cline
amd so
we listened to many a patsy song
in that big beautiful car

at first we detested her country twang
until we knew every song
and every word
and soon the three of us would laugh
and sing along

this song reminds me
of being that crazy little girl
