through the andies
commencing at 3000 feet

you can become with a handful
of strangers
in such a short time

up the street from our hotel
in lujan

just finished our third
6 hour day
of building
the foundation
of a house

i have blisters
on my hands
a tired lower back
and a bad hardhat tan
on my forehead

but it is so
worth it

we are building a house for a family
olga rouque and their 4 children
sergio sebastian alexis and priscilla
they currently live
in a precarious little house
with barely enough room for
one

they are so unbelievably grateful
and olga helps us out every day
she doesn´t speak a word
of english
but laugh and smiles along with all of us
anyways

life is simple here
the wine is incredible
and cheap

and yes
the beef is tasty k

tomorrow
it is to rain
so we are all volunteering in a
soup kitchen

it will be nice to have a
day of ¨rest¨

and now for some spanish
