i see a video or movie
with people flying down the open road
wind in their hair
sun coming down behind the trees
with no real direction
it makes me want to live my life
to the seams

i've been hitting it up
small town lately

i was born and raised in oakville
and loved it
for a while
until i got the city bug
and took off for the big life
and now
the more i come back home
the more i've felt
as though the big city
is big time outta my system






a few weekends ago
we went to Springridge farm
took a wagon ride to the corn fields
and passed by the strawberry field
that my true love and i went to the morning after
highschool graduation

one of the best days i can remember







going back felt
like home

last weekend i went for a hike
through rattlesnake point
through the changing leaves
along the cliffs and
above the world

i could have hiked
forever



it just feels like everything that is important
in life
comes to light
and becomes so much more enjoyable
than ever imagined

like a long breath
of fresh air





and a pretty little fresh face

pushing send
on that email
is one of the most liberating things
i have ever done













now onto better things!
