my distaste for visitors and the traffic that ensues

is quickly superseding (wierd spelling, yet correct. i looked it up)
my love of living by the water

it kinda makes me miss parkdale
no traffic
the rush of "will i survive my morning run or get killed by a ruthless druggie"
and no freaking traffic
to get to my front door

i also went shopping along queen west on monday
and kinda felt at home

awesome.

loved this show.

i don't know what it was with today
but two old men
were total asshats to me

the first guy was probably 65
and gave me a shoulder check
while walking along the sidewalk
because i was not quick enough to get out of his way
as i tried to pass my friend with a baby carriage

the second old fart
who was pushing 80
gave me guff because my dog
had a shit on the grass
of the spiritan church he was leaving
even though he watched me pick it up
"i hope you will find a better place for her to go next time"
are you kidding me?
it's grass
and i picked it up
so i politely replied
"sorry, but she had to go and i did pick it up."

not exactly what i was muttering under my breath


argh
old people suck
today

dear mom,

i have never missed you more on a mother's day
than i do on this one
i'm doing pretty good
i think you would be proud
you would be even more proud
of your beautiful grand daughter
she has her hair cut all short and pretty right now

and when i saw her yesterday
i could not believe how much she looks like you
jenn agrees























she also gives wet kisses
kinda like you did

anyways happy mothers day
and just know that
even though you are gone
you are still with us
through
all of the life lessons you taught us
and the values you instilled
and the traditions you hoped we would carry on

cause we have

tonight sucks

it's weekends like these
that i wish would last forever
