but staring blankly
or out being sociable and silly

its all fun

these were good years
the best maybe

this may be the most listened to

in my entire collection

when i was a young girl
i used to count the minutes
until i could come home from school
run upstairs to my bedroom
shut the door
sit cross legged on my floor
and listen to this album

life was just as challenging
as it is now
at least it felt that way
but i was young
and in love
and eager to start life
and maybe a bit angry
but i had everything ahead of me

and i'm certain
that there is still that piece of me
inside

my mom had MS

and she had to use a cane

or a walker

and for long outings

a wheelchair

this year miss O

chalk it up to fancy eyes

Woweee
today i received this crazy kit
of eye stuffs
sent to me from maybelline

it's kind of like receiving a whole whack
of paints and getting to create
a masterpiece

it reminds me of when i was a little girl
and i used those thin sticks
of chalk
to draw all over the concrete

except now
i'm all grown up
and the cracks and crevices that were
once on concrete
are now on my gracefully aging face

so project x is gonna be me
creating
a dazzlingly youthful look
and gloriously girly glow
